Manual Therapy (adapted from Maitland)

The main concern of manual therapy is to reduce and to remove dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system.

Using passive and active handles and movements to gently mobilize mobility-impaired joints or to stabilize hypermobile and instable joints by individual exercises.

Easing pain, mobilizing stiff joints and stabilizing instable joints by therapist chosen handles and techniques.

These kind of grips and techniques have a focus on restoring interaction between nervous system, musculature and joint.
